Welcome to The Mercury Room

Our Bar & Eatery located on Hood Street in the heart of Hamilton's CBD, was renovated and opened for business in 2022.

​The coldest of beers, the most sumptuous of wines and classic cocktails with a twist thrown in for good measure. Come and find your spot in the beautiful bar, or kick back in the cosy booth where you can eat, drink, relax and have fun. Catch all the major sporting events on our big screens or laugh and cry while testing your wits at our quiz night. 

Date night? Find a cosy spot for a wine and a pizza. Group night out? We’ve got space to cater for a crowd, too. And while we might have a laidback vibe, we take our food seriously, from small meals and shared plates, through to burgers, pizzas and our refined classics.
